Since I was four years old, I have regularly attended a Christian Science Sunday School. During this time I have had many experiences and had healings, of which only the most important may be mentioned here.

Daily prayer, acknowledging God's presence with me and His constant care, has often proven very important and helpful to me. On a winter day when I was on my way to school on my bicycle, I was riding on a very busy street, when suddenly a car hit me from behind. While still falling, I declared that with God there are no accidents and that in God, Spirit, there is no room for matter.

I am happy to be able to say that I came out of this very dangerous situation without the slightest injury. Further details of this incident were also settled harmoniously. The driver of the car was an acquaintance, who immediately declared his willingness to have my damaged bicycle repaired and also took me to school. I was able to attend school just as on any other day, so that did not not think any more about the incident. For me, this experience confirms the Bible verse (Jer. 17:7): "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is."
