Transition: Sunday School to Church

"I loved Sunday School. But church turns me off." Have you heard someone say that? Or are you finding the transition from Sunday School to church services a little rough?

There's no doubt about it. The church service is different from Sunday School in the Church of Christ, Scientist. The Lesson-Sermon The Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lesson; is read rather than referred to in a lively discussion. You sit still for an hour rather than talk and laugh and move around in your chair. There are two Readers who probably don't know you, rather than a teacher who calls you by your first name.

But by the time you finish Sunday School you are prepared for things to be different, and you can take it all in your stride, the same as college is different from high school and managing your own business is different from being a junior partner.
