It is with a heart filled with gratitude that I give this testimony regarding the efficacy of Christian Science. It has been my guide for many years and has never failed when applied to my problems with understanding and a desire to let God's will be done.

Some of my healings have been instantaneous; others have taken more time to accomplish, some with the help of practitioners, others by my own understanding of the truth. With each manifestation of the truth there has been a step forward in the true Science of being.

I had an experience of protection and guidance in a strange country. I was in a seaport city and decided to go to an inland city for a few hours of sight-seeing. I had made the trip several times and had encountered no difficulties. The two cities are about forty miles apart. About nine in the morning I boarded a bus; and after a beautiful ride over the mountains I arrived at my destination, a small bus station in the central part of the city. Upon returning to the station about one o'clock I was made to understand there would be no more buses until that evening. The other times I had made the trip during weekdays. This particular trip was made on a Saturday, and there was a different operating schedule.
