RADIO PROGRAM NO. 439 - A Parent's Gift

[The participants are Florence Ludgate and Harlan Witham.]

Witham: There are many gifts that parents would like to give their children. Perhaps the most important of all are those which will help children face up to new challenges as they leave the home circle and become more involved in school and activities after school—for instance, the challenge of really getting along with their friends in school or wherever they are.

Ludgate: Love, interest, and caring are important gifts that we can all give our children. But in terms of helping them get along with other people, it seems to me that one of the greatest gifts we can give them is the gift of forgiveness.
