Christian Science was introduced to my mother in 1912. She was quickly healed of a severe sinus condition for which she had endured two operations and was told a third was necessary. Through this healing six members of her family became actively interested in Christian Science and for many years relied upon it for healing.

I was placed in the Christian Science Sunday School at that time and am grateful for fifteen years of Sunday School teaching.

After my marriage, which has been a happy one, I became apathetic in my study of this truth. When I needed help for any type of problem, it was always given by Christian Science practitioners, but I did little prayerful work for myself. Finally, after years of drifting, I was presented with a human relationship problem that had increased with such severity that I knew I had to work it out myself through the study and application of Christian Science. With a sincere desire for spiritual growth I once again became active in church work and studied diligently. It was also at this time that the inspiring experience of Christian Science class instruction came to me. Words can never express my gratitude for this blessed teaching and for the annual association meeting, which renewed spiritual inspiration.
