ASCENDING SIGHT

"Lord, that I might receive my sight."
This the cry of one lost in the night.

Lord, that I may become aware.
This is the cry of one almost there.

Then comes the summit of realized prayer,
That sight is the knowing God and I share!

Here I stand, God. I am seeing.
Thou art my knowing; Thou art my being.
