This testimony is given with thanksgiving to God for the healing power of Christian Science, and also with appreciation of Mary Baker Eddy for bringing Truth to a waiting world, a world struggling to be free from sin, suffering, poverty, and lack.

We have had many healings in our family for which I am unceasingly grateful. A healing I wish to relate, with the hope that it will bless others, was that of a growth on my face, which grew to serious proportions. This condition was never diagnosed by a physician, but from all indications it was that of cancer. I had treatment from a very fine Christian Science practitioner, who stood with me in my need day and night for a long time. He was ever ready to assist with consecrated prayer and encouragement to spiritualize my own sense of life and God.

At one time during this experience I was taken by plane to a Christian Science nursing home three or four hundred miles away, where I stayed about two months. I was able to return by car, and Christian Science nurses stayed with me for various periods.
