Recovery Is Spiritual Awakening

One of the most glorious and comforting truths Christian Science teaches is the ever-presence of God, good. This means that all His beautiful qualities must likewise always be present, so that any good which appears to the physical senses to be lacking or to have been superseded by some phase of evil is actually right at hand, always visible to spiritual or Truth-lighted consciousness.

This was the foundation of Christ Jesus' healing ministry. He restored strength, joy, and health to the sufferers he encountered, and he did this through his realization of the abiding nature of the qualities of God expressed through His creation.

If any specific aspect of good could be lost, it would mean that God, the only source of blessedness, is not constant in His bestowal of good; and thus His nature as invariable Principle, or Love, would be lost. But Mrs. Eddy declares, "It is impossible that man should lose aught that is real, when God is all and eternally his." ^{Science and Health, p. 302;}
