I was a high school senior last year.

I don't know where to begin to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I think that if I were to write down all the wonderful healings I have had in Christian Science, all of them combined would cover many pages. I have had the desire to submit a testimony to one of the periodicals but have lacked the courage. I would like to submit this testimony with the idea that it may help some weary searcher after Truth.

My reason for writing that I was a high school senior is that about five years ago I thought that I would never graduate from high school. I became a dropout after failing in my studies. I left Science and fell by the wayside. I began to hang around with wrong crowds and started to drink. Somehow, though, I must have known that I could not get away from Christian Science and God, because the good seed that man is God's likeness had been planted in my thought. This enabled me to completely overcome the desire for drink. I stopped drinking even though I had not then gone back to Science.
