There is no doubt in my mind that Christian Science came to the world according to God's will.
In my early thirties I was given up as incurable after being treated by the medical profession continuously for five years. The doctor, who was a friend of the family, had consulted other specialists and advised me that nothing more could be done for me medically. However, he suggested that, if I wished, he could operate, but he would not guarantee success. I decided not to have the operation.
I went home and got down on my knees and prayed, "Dear God, despite the great knowledge of doctors, they have not created a single living thing. You alone are the creator. And what You have created, You have surely made whole."
