My parents became interested in Christian Science when I was a small child, and I am very grateful for having had some understanding of this beautiful religion through the years.

Christian Science has been of inestimable value in bringing up my children. It gave me courage and strength when it became necessary for me to go into the business world without any experience. It healed me of grief when one very dear to me passed on.

I experienced an instantaneous healing as the result of being obedient to a call to serve in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. For several years a very painful condition of the spine had made it impossible for me to remain standing in one position longer than a few moments. At times I had treatment from a Christian Science practitioner and prayed earnestly over the condition, but I did not get permanent relief. Someone told me that I would soon be asked to serve as usher at the church services. I replied that I could not possibly serve in that capacity.
