Ever-present, Inexhaustible Good
A child turns naturally to his parents for a sense of protection, of security. We can be grateful to have learned in Christian Science that God, divine Love, is our Father-Mother, ever with His child, ever comforting, ever protecting, meeting every need. How grateful we are to know that the loving Father-Mother is ever bestowing all good upon His children, ever giving them all they need!
It is the understanding of God, Mind, the source of good, that enables us to think spiritually, express Godlike qualities, and have all that we need. One of our needs is for energy, the true energy that enables us to do well whatever it is our duty to do. Real energy is divinely mental, spiritual. But a mortal thinks of energy as something he generates; therefore he does not really have a true sense of energy.
We can think of God-derived energy as made up of intelligence, love, strength, spiritual understanding. To have the ability to do things well, one would have to have the right concept of intelligence, love, and strength.
