How Silently!
How silently, how silently,
The wondrous gift is given. Christian Science Hymnal, No. 222;
Thus a hymn describes the coming of the Christ, God's message to mankind. In the stillness of expectant prayer the healing Truth appears. It seems to enter one's thought. Really, the Christ has always been active everywhere. One need only leave the clamor of erroneous, mundane thinking and prayerfully listen to be aware of its ever-presence in spiritual consciousness.
