I am an electronics engineer, born and reared in Bombay, India. There my family was first introduced to Christian Science eleven years ago, and there, as a teen-ager, I first experienced in my own life some proof of the solid fact that Christian Science is for the whole world, and that before it every barrier to health and right opportunity vanishes.

Soon after my mother began studying the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, she was healed of asthma, from which she had suffered for fifteen years. This healing encouraged us to rely radically on divine Love to meet all our needs as they arose.

My urgent need at that time was to pass my final high school examinations. I had faithfully kept abreast of all my courses during the year, but under a rule of the school, graduation was not possible if I did not pass my foreign language (English) course.
