RADIO PROGRAM NO. 373 - What Does the Bible Offer People Today?
[The speaker is Philip Metcalf. The questioner is Ron Clifford.]
Questioner: At the university I'm associated with there are thousands of books that contain references to the Bible, and many students are familiar enough with Biblical literature to appreciate them.
But to me, the Bible is more than great literature. I think that perhaps my son, who is thirteen years old, summed up how I feel about the Bible when he had to write a paper on the subject. He said that, most of all, the Bible is a book of teaching. It teaches the way of God and how we all can help others.
