During over sixty years of living as a Christian Scientist, it has been my happy privilege to witness many healings for which I am most grateful.

As a pebble dropped into the water causes first a small ripple which expands into ever-enlarging circles, so the first grain of Truth that came to my mother and me through Christian Science grew into an ever-expanding force that touched the lives of many members of our family.

In my early twenties I had class instruction and became Second Reader in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. During this time I was instantaneously healed of a very painful internal disorder that caused me much suffering. During one attack I was in extreme pain, when an angel message came to my thought; and I lay back and said aloud to the error: "Do your worst. You can't touch me, for I am an emanation from God." Mortal mind released its tension, and the Christ, Truth, controlled the situation. The pain stopped instantly, and every function became normal; I was free, and have remained so all through the years.
