Christian Science was presented to my mother just before I reached my teens, and I am grateful that I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School until I reached the age of twenty. Later I found this practical religion of inestimable value in solving the many problems which confronted me in the business world.

I have had many physical healings through the study and application of Christian Science. Some of them have come about quickly. Others have required much consecrated prayer and work when there was a much needed lesson to be learned.

A few years ago a lump appeared on my wrist and caused much discomfort and pain. This condition did not yield to my prayerful work; and since fear had crept into my thought, I called a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. Time went on, and still the healing was not effected, as there was much fear and erroneous thinking to be rooted out. One day when the problem seemed to loom larger and the wrist was more painful, I realized that I must take my stand for Truth and firmly refuse to accept the erroneous suggestion that man, the image and likeness of God, could experience or express imperfection or abnormality.
