In Christian Science we do not magnify inharmony
In Christian Science we do not magnify inharmony. We need to magnify good by expressing deep gratitude when we are healed and not minimize an incident at mortal mind's suggestion. By this I mean that when we have had a glorious healing the suggestion a day or two later may be that the condition healed was not, humanly speaking, quite as bad as we had believed. We must recognize this as error trying to belittle the wonderful power of God, which we can all experience through the study and application of Christian Science. We find this ever-available truth, which heals, in our textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
Some time ago I was standing on the top of my sewing machine adjusting a curtain, when suddenly I lost my balance. I found myself on my back across my machine stool. It seemed impossible to move; and as I tried, I slipped helplessly to the floor.
I must have turned to God involuntarily, for I realized I was giving myself a Christian Science treatment. It was as if the voice of Truth said, "You do know that God made all and made it good. You do know that you are idea, the image of Love; you are not material. You do know that you are God's perfect reflection." Mentally I agreed wholeheartedly with each of these powerful statements of Truth.
