"The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword" (Hebr. 4:12). His arm is outstretched to save us. I am grateful for the Lesson-Sermons as established by Mrs. Eddy, for in our daily study we become familiar with a store of spiritual facts that readily come to our aid.

I was involved in an automobile accident. As I regained consciousness, I was aware that I was audibly repeating, "God is my Life." The current Bible Lesson was on the subject "Life." The message from that lesson that came to my aid was that life is not contingent on matter. The full statement appearing in the lesson is on page 427 in Science and Health where Mrs. Eddy states, "The belief that existence is contingent on matter must be met and mastered by Science, before Life can be understood and harmony obtained." My thoughts turned to the people in the other car, and I realized that ideas of God do not harm other ideas.

An ambulance took the three of us to a hospital, where I expressed the desire to go home. The doctor reading the X rays said that my nose had been broken but that all parts were in place. Also I felt a fractured rib snap into place. No medical treatment was required. I reflected the action of divine Mind, which I knew was supreme. I was released. I am grateful that everyone involved recovered. I was absent from my work only two weeks.
