The Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, was given to me by a woman I met in Canada. I believe that God led me to this teaching through His unerring law of direction, because my thought was receptive to it. I have since proved main of the statements contained in the Bible and Science and Health, and my fruitage is abundant.

A twisted ankle was straightened instantaneously through scientific prayer. The angel message that helped in this instance was, "There is no discord in harmony." A growth on my waist fell away by my using Jesus' statement "Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up" (Matt. 15:13) and Mrs. Eddy's, "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive" (Science and Health, p. 463).

In assignments as a television actor on unscripted dramatic shows I have found success by relying on the spontaneity of Mind rather than by doing a lot of human planning and rehearsing beforehand. I have gained a better understanding of the powerful statement of St. Paul, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me" (Phil. 4: 13).
