Don't Be a Sleepy Thinker!
[For children]
There was a knock at the study door. "Please, Dad, read the lesson to me," said Mark.
Each day Mark liked to have his mother or dad read a section or two of the Christian Science Quarterly Lesson-Sermon to him from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Reading the lesson was a good way to start the day because it turned his thinking to God.
Dad opened the study door and invited Mark to come in. Mark clambered up on the daybed, got comfortable, and then listened while his dad read one section. It was about animal magnetism. Now, he knew what animal meant. But magnetism—this was strange-sounding! It had the word "magnet" in it, but it was harder to say.
