Students of Christian Science have much to be grateful for— many demonstrations of God's care and protection in daily life, as well as the unfoldment of enlarged understanding of the Bible made possible by Mrs. Eddy's discovery of the Science of Christianity.

I had an aunt, a student of Christian Science, who visited in our home quite often. At that time my family refused her religion. As a child, I remembered the scientifically Christian statements she voiced when members of the family were manifesting trouble of any kind. Her remarks so inspired me as I grew older that I always held in thought the promise that I could turn to this study if other remedies failed.

Many years later, when I was married and had children, I reached the point when I chose Christian Science. Material medicine had failed to heal our son, who had a serious jawbone condition. After a tooth was extracted, the dentist informed me the boy had to undergo an operation. He expressed much fear of the consequences.
