WHEN YOU CAN JOIN THE MOTHER CHURCH

Earnest students of Christian Science who rely solely on Christian Science for healing are warmly invited to apply for membership in The Mother Church at any time.

Applications are acted upon twice each year—once in June (applications due by May 1) and once in November (applications due by October 1).

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is the textbook of Christian Science. VISITORS WELCOME

Chestnut Hill, Mass.—The former residence of Mary Baker Eddy at 400 Beacon Street contains an exhibit room on the second floor where items tracing the growth of the movement from its earliest days to the present are displayed. This house is open to visitors weekdays May 15 through October 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. During the remainder of the year the hours are 12.30 to 4 p.m. daily except Sunday. It is closed on all holidays with the exception of Patriots' Day (third Monday in April), Memorial Day (May 30 or last Monday in May), and Bunker Hill Day (June 17).

Lynn, Mass.—The former home of Mrs. Eddy at 12 Broad Street is open to visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 15 through October 15. During these months the house is also open on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. From October 16 through. May 14, the house is open daily, except Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on all holidays with the exception of Patriots' Day (third Monday in April), Memorial Day (Ma, 30 or last Monday in May), and Bunker Hill Day (June 17). This house, including the little attic room where Mrs. Eddy completed her work on the original manuscript of Science and Health, has been carefully restored to present the highest possible point of historical accuracy.

INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS AND DOLLAR DRAFTS

International money orders and dollar drafts reaching the Publishing Society in Boston contain only the name and address of the sender and the amount. To help us serve you better, will you please write to us at the time you purchase the money order or dollar draft and tell us what your remittance is for. This will enable us to avoid the delay caused by the necessity of writing to you. Dollar drafts purchased from your local bank can be processed more quickly than international money orders.

A directory of all Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies, including the hours of their services and information about their Reading Rooms, appears monthly in The Christian Science Journal.

The Mother Church

The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, is located at Norway, Falmouth, and St. Paul Streets.

SERVICES

Sunday morning at 10.45, Sunday evening at 7.30 (evening service omitted during July and August), and Wednesday evening testimony meeting at 7.30. Sunday School for pupils up to the age of twenty at 10.45.

The Church edifice is open to visitors Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon until 5 p.m.

READING ROOMS

422 Boylston Street (near Berkeley Street). Open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., except on Wednesdays, when it closes at 6.30, and open Sundays from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

8 Milk Street (near Washington Street). Open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., except on Saturdays, when it closes at 3 p.m. Closed Sundays and holidays.

194 Massachusetts Avenue (corner of Clearway Street). Open Mondays through Fridays 7.30 a.m. until 9 p.m., Wednesdays 7.30 a.m. until 7 p.m., and from 8.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., Sundays from 12 noon until 7 p.m., and holidays from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., except on Thanksgiving, when it opens at 12 noon.
