I have had many healings in my study of Christian Science— mental, physical, and financial. One outstanding healing was of what appeared to be a broken arm. This was on Saturday morning. I tried treating myself through prayer, but the pain was so severe that I called for help from a Christian Science practitioner. Saturday evening I still was in great pain and called the practitioner again. She said I could have the bone set if I so desired. I had never thought of having it set. I had been studying Christian Science for many years. My desire was to prove what I had been learning.

I was serving as Second Reader in our branch church at the time, and I knew that God was sustaining me and that I would be in my right place. However, on Sunday morning I found myself unable to dress and get myself ready for church. I called a neighbor to come and help me on my way. I read for the service without any discomfort. At no time was a sling or support used. On Wednesday evening the First Reader came to my home and read the Lesson-Sermon with me. I rested my arm on the table. During the reading of the Lesson-Sermon the bone snapped into place. I said, "Did you hear that bone snap into place?" She answered, "Yes, I did."

There were many minor adjustments in the arm. In a few days the swelling and discoloration left, and the healing was complete.
