Since the publication of my testimony in the Sentinel over twenty-eight years ago, when I was a new student of Christian Science, we have had innumerable healings, and my gratitude is unbounded for all the blessings Science has brought us.

About five years ago a lump appeared on my body. I told no one and prayed earnestly for many months to spiritualize my thinking. My mother and a sister had passed on from a similar disease, but I felt confident of a healing. Finally the condition became quite painful, and I called a Christian Science practitioner, who assured me the only thing to get rid of was a false, fearful belief. His loving and positive declarations of truth so uplifted me that I felt God's presence clearly and called him back the next day to tell him that I was healed. The physical symptoms were very alarming for a few weeks, but I knew I was healed. I had no fear—only a deep sense of peace.

Mrs. Eddy tells us (Science and Health, p. 192), "Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power." The healing has been complete, and I am naturally deeply grateful.
