Since early childhood Christian Science has brought healing and blessing to me. My parents were young when they became earnest students of Christian Science, and thenceforth our home was filled with the good that comes from a consciousness of God's presence. I experienced several childhood diseases before Christian Science came into our home, and medical treatment was received. After my parents began the study of Christian Science, our home was free from the many common illnesses of schoolchildren.

Christian Science was my mainstay and guide throughout my schooling. When I fully realized the completeness and oneness of the divine Mind, governing all, school courses and human relationships developed harmoniously.

I have been healed of such problems as colds, headaches, an apparent eye infection, and results of an automobile accident. One Sunday morning on the way to serve in the Christian Science Sunday School, I stopped my car suddenly to avoid being hit by a car speeding across my path. I was struck forcefully from behind by another car. My head was thrown back, and I heard my neck snap. I was momentarily so confused that I could think only of getting to my place in Sunday School. By the time I reached church, there was severe pain in my head and neck and I was crying.
