"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Ps. 23:1)
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Ps. 23:1). These words from the Bible, as well as Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," have been a source of assurance to me.
I was reared in Christian Science and had the privilege of attending the Sunday School. I early learned to rely on divine Love and God's omnipotent care. In later years it came naturally for me to establish in my own home this reliance upon God and make it the way of Life for my family.
When our little girl was quite small, she blistered her heel, and it became badly infected. Through the prayerful work of a dedicated Christian Science practitioner and our own established expectancy of healing through prayer, the infection was completely healed.
