My gratitude for Christian Science is very great...
My gratitude for Christian Science is very great. On innumerable occasions it has helped me solve my problems—financial, physical, and psychological.
Sometimes I have managed to work them out myself with what I have learned from the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and from the Wednesday evening testimony meetings. On other occasions I have had the prayerful help of friends who are Christian Science practitioners.
I should like to tell about an instantaneous healing of the latter kind. I had been suffering from gastric ulcers for several decades. I remembered how my father suffered from the same difficulty. I had talked to a friend, a gastric specialist, who had said, "Of course, I can operate on you, but my experience tells me that another ulcer will most likely come."
