Christian Science Church Center
PROGRESS REPORT No. 20
Trees, bushes, and flowers will shade, soften, and grace the new Church Center. Some two hundred trees and other plantings will add the touch of a parklike setting to the nearly seven acres of open plaza.
Even now it is not hard to imagine the brightness of the new buildings, the traditional warmth of red brick walks, and the sparkle of pool and fountain, all set of! by the cheerful hues of flowers and the varying greens of trees and shrubs.
Large red oaks will stand like sentinels around the rim of the Center on Massachusetts and Huntington Avenues.
