For fifty years Christian Science has been to me a rock and sure foundation on which to build. Whatever the problem, I have found a solution when the Principle of divine Science has been consistently applied, and it has greatly comforted me to know that man is, not shall be, God's perfect and eternal child. When waves of human hatred, malice, criticism, or resentment have threatened to overwhelm me, I have been brought safely into smoother waters by holding steadfastly to Truth.

I give thanks for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The opening sentence of the Preface to this book, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," helped me to do without a material support given me by a doctor many years previously. I am also grateful for the Sunday School, where children may learn to carry out the teachings of this Science of Christianity.

When my husband passed on twenty years ago, I was left without any material income, but knowing that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (ibid., p. 494), I now have my home and an income adequate to my needs. Both my family and I have had many healings of physical difficulties, among which are dysentery, headaches, arthritis, a malignant disease, and many others.
