Establishing Real Identity

On many occasions people are required to establish their identity before they can obtain certain freedoms or credits or engage in particular transactions. They must prove that they are the selfsame individual they claim to be.

Christian Science explains the real identity of anyone as his spiritual consciousness, his individual reflection of God, Spirit, Mind. The student of this Science knows that in order to obtain health and the ability to express spiritual power and satisfaction in life he must establish in his own understanding his real identity, which is his eternal selfsameness.

Sometimes we hear of an identity crisis someone thinks he is undergoing. An unstable time or state of personal affairs may have claimed to bring on what he calls such a crisis. He may want to make radical changes in his way of life. He may believe that alienating himself from his family, his school, his business, or his usual mode of life will solve his problem.
