It is with deep gratitude that I tell how very practical Christian Science is proving to be in my experience. It has given me a better sense of health through the healing of physical diseases.

Facial acne was one of the first healings I had, and this came about through the realization of my original perfection and spotless purity as the child of God. Rheumatism was healed when the burden of false responsibility over home, church, and office affairs was lifted from me. A loving comprehension of the blessed truth that the "government shall be upon his shoulder" (Isa. 9:6) brought complete freedom in ten days.

A badly sprained foot was healed and regular shoes could be worn after a practitioner recommended that I study Hymn No. 52 in theChristian Science Hymnal. The phrase, "Love's work and Love must fit," was pondered, and simultaneously with the physical healing came the harmonious adjustment to the challenges of a new position in the business world. Two small growths, one on the side of my foot and another on my thigh, dropped off when I could realize that no accumulation of matter and no growth of erroneous beliefs can be found in the consciousness of a spiritual idea.
