My first healing occurred when I was a mere infant

My first healing occurred when I was a mere infant. My entire body swelled to twice its normal size. The doctor pronounced it inflammatory rheumatism. After he had left the house, I had convulsions. My mother was terrified and ran next door to call a neighbor for help. The neighbor came and stood beside my bed for a few minutes. The convulsions soon subsided, and I lay still and quietly went to sleep. This kind and good lady proved to be a Christian Science practitioner.

After my healing as a baby, I never had convulsions again, but I did have an attack of rheumatism a number of years later. I had started attending the Christian Science Sunday School, and I applied what 1 had learned and was soon healed and walked the mile and a half to high school.

Since our marriage my husband and I and our three children have had many healings and blessings for which I am very grateful.
