Signs of the Times
The Reverend Dr. J. B. Webb in Eastern Province Herald Port Elizabeth, South Africa
A recent issue of the Rotarian carries an interesting article by the late Bradford Smith, a Quaker, whose whole life was dedicated to the cause of world peace.
The article, entitled "Fifteen Men of Peace," gives a one-sentence philosophy of each of his chosen figures of history, ranging from Ikhnaton who lived in the fourteenth century B.C., to Dag Hammarskjold.
