One Can Feel Inward Joy
Joy dwells forever in divine consciousness, in the one, infinite, perfect Mind, God. It is ever present.
But how can one who has been seeking and longing for joy attain it? First, he must know what joy is, what he is looking for; then he will realize that it is not difficult to find. Joy is as near as God, for it is an attribute of Spirit, Soul, God. According to Christian Science, God is ever giving His joy to man, made in His image and likeness. Since man is idea, the reflection of Soul, man is as joyous as divine Love, Soul. "The joy of the Lord is your strength," Neh. 8:10; we read in the Scriptures.
True joy is entirely spiritual, not dependent on any earthly, material thing, either small or great. True joy must be found and felt inwardly, in individual consciousness.
