About five years ago I severely twisted my ankle when I was on the street, and I heard some bones snap. I immediately declared that God, the only cause, does not know accidents and therefore there could be no effect from any seeming accident; that man is at the standpoint of perfection and must act accordingly.
I was grateful no one saw the incident. With some difficulty I proceeded across the street and into the hotel where I was staying at the time.
As soon as the accident occurred, I at once realized the error in my thought that had tripped me. I had been following someone who limped and had been wondering what was wrong. Now I had to reverse this kind of thinking and know that God is the only cause and good the only effect, that man made in His image and likeness is spiritual, perfect, upright, and free.
