The Correct View Brings Healing

In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes: "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick." Science and Health, pp. 476, 477;

To have a correct view of anything, we must properly evaluate or recognize that which is viewed. We must acknowledge that divine Mind is the source from which we gain the right view.

To mortal sense, false testimony appears logical and valid. False humility may make us argue: "I cannot understand the spiritual view. It is too transcendental." Or self-depreciation may suggest: "I am not good enough to entertain such a view. I do not deserve to." Acceptance of such suggestions of mortal sense as true would keep us forever outside the realm of Soul, of heaven.
