It is with sincere gratitude to Christian Science for all the help and comfort I have received through it that I write this testimony.

One day I was involved in an accident in my home. Even as it was happening, these words came clearly to me (Deut. 33:27): "Underneath are the everlasting arms." I know this assurance of God's omnipresence greatly sustained me in the days following. However, I had cut my leg badly, and the shock and bruising were severe.

Next morning the temptation to stay in bed came strongly, but I determined to take a firm stand for the truth of man's spiritual perfection. So with difficulty I dressed and limped to help a neighbor, who did not notice anything amiss. On the next day, which was Sunday, the temptation to stay in bed had to be resisted again, but not at any time was I tempted to seek medical help. My faith in divine Love did not falter, and I knew I must rely on the one Mind. I limped into church giving thanks for all the many healings and blessings I had experienced through Christian Science. I walked out quite freely, and soon all signs of swelling and bruising had disappeared.
