Early in our study of Christian Science we proved the efficacy of this religion by many signs, among them the quick healing of children's ailments and complete immunity from some of these seemingly contagious diseases, as well as the entire family's freedom from the use of material remedies. One of our three sons, while in high school, was restored to perfect health from a very severe case of rheumatic fever through the devoted services of a Christian Science practitioner.

This son and his brother were in naval service during World War II and completed their tours of duty entirely free from harm. They had the comfort of knowing that we at home were confident of their safety through our knowledge of God's protecting care and our mutual understanding of the allness and goodness of the Almighty.

Adequate supply has been demonstrated at times when circumstances would have had us believe in a shortage of income to meet our needs. When our eldest son entered college, we thought we could finance him for at least one year. The university he selected is close to The Mother Church. He had the added privilege of attending The Mother Church until his graduation five years later.
