I sincerely wish to express my gratitude for the wonderful gifts our Father-Mother God has bestowed on me, for the beautiful discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy, and also for the clear understanding I have gained of the Bible through study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

I had a deep desire to know and understand Love, and I found my answer by visiting a Christian Science Reading Room in Los Angeles. There I read Science and Health for hours. This did a great deal for me, because I had never felt freer than I did at the end of that time, and I was very much refreshed.

Then I left for a desert town in California where an aunt who was interested in Science had all the books. My aunt showed me how to read the weekly Christian Science Quarterly Lesson-Sermons, and we studied them together. I was so very grateful for this newfound truth that I often read until two o'clock in the morning. Sometimes I would close my eyes for a while and let the beauty of this wonderful Science of Love unfold in my consciousness. Words can never express my deeply felt gratitude for the beautiful unfoldment of Life, Truth, Love, of God as perfect Principle, and of man as the perfect image and likeness of the one all-loving Father-Mother God.
