About twenty-six years ago a friend, who was a Christian Scientist, gave me prayerful treatment which resulted in the healing of a stomach disorder. I had never heard of Christian Science before, but I listened and gratefully accepted her aid.

I took no further interest in Science at that time, and after some years I spent two different sessions of about two years each in a sanatorium. I had tuberculosis. The second time, after having gone through a serious operation with no assurance from the doctors that I would be completely well, I started studying the Bible, especially the healings of Jesus. In Matthew we read (7:7), "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

I found courage and the assurance of a way to get well. I was permitted to go home for a couple of days. I callcd my friend, and she recommended I seek the aid of a practitioner. This I did. I signed a paper releasing the doctors from all responsibility for me. I was home with my family; joy and happiness reigned, and in no time I was well and doing all the necessary duties a housewife is called upon to do.
