My brother and I have a riding pony, and one day she became frightened and ran into our mother, throwing her to the ground. There were two hoof prints on the inside of Mother's thigh where the pony had stepped, and Mother couldn't remember anything that day. A Christian Science practitioner prayed for her, and that night when my little brother and I were lying awake in bed we knew the truth. We both have attended a Christian Science Sunday School since we were three years old.
The next morning Mommy was so much better. And that morning a lump on my heel (like a large wart), which I had had for a long time and which had made it hard for me to walk, just dropped off. When I showed it to Mommy she said, "Give the credit to God," and in a few days she was all well.
We are all very grateful for Christian Science and God's loving care.
