I first became aware of Christian Science when my daughter was nine years old. She associated with a little girl who was a Christian Scientist, visiting her church occasionally. Soon afterward she became so interested in this religion that she asked me to purchase her a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

At this time I was a Sunday School teacher of another denomination, but sometimes I would open up Science and Health and read. What a revelation it was to me! It gave me much comfort, and I turned to it often when the need seemed great. This continued for many years, and problems were solved and healings brought about through my study of the textbook.

Then about three and a half years ago I decided to join a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. Since becoming a member, I am happy and infinitely grateful to have been able to demonstrate often the power of divine Love. One of these demonstrations was the healing of what was apparently a form of arthritis. It was difficult for me to walk or even move my legs. The pain was severe, and I spent many, many sleepless nights.
