For all the benefits and inspiration that I have received from the testimonies appearing in the Christian Science periodicals, I am truly grateful. Our family too has experienced the healing and directing power of God, as revealed through the application of the rules of Christian Science in daily life. It would require the pages of a book to enumerate all of our experiences, because Christian Science has been our way of life for a number of years.

I once went through a period of extreme fear and nervousness. Much help was given me, and I was sustained; but complete healing came only after some years. There were many erroneous beliefs and false trusts that had to be cleared out of my thinking, and spirituality had to mature in my consciousness before I could see my way out of this particular belief. But I was never unable to care for my home and family during this time, and I also made many demonstrations of finding a home, and I helped my husband in his effort to attain a better sense of supply and right activity in his employment, and in turn he helped and supported me with his understanding of Christian Science.

Our two daughters had many healings in their childhood. The effects of accidents were healed on more than one occasion. One instance that comes to mind is the healing of a puncture of our younger girl's throat. My husband had the two children out with him when the accident occurred, and he brought them home.
