RADIO PROGRAM No. 170 — Freedom Is Yours!

QUESTIONER: I keep noticing that everybody says they're all for freedom even when they deny other people their rights. Have you ever noticed that?

SPEAKER: Yes, I have. I'm sure most everyone feels that he wants to be free and wants others to be free. But it's just when he becomes afraid that someone else is going to deprive him of something that the thought of suppressing freedom comes out. But I do believe that within each individual there is something that recognizes that freedom is the gift of God and that it rightly belongs to everybody.

QUESTIONER: Now, you say freedom is a gift of God; it seems to me that people have been fighting for it for years.
