How to utilize the preventive power of Christian Science was revealed to my wife and me through a healing some years ago, and we are grateful for the many joyful blessings Science has brought to our family and to others.

Our younger son was three years old and was falling from everything. He was falling down the second-floor stairs, the basement stairs, off the yard fence, from his tricycle, and from his chair. Each time he fell we would use the curative truths of Christian Science for a quick healing of the cuts and bruises.

That was as far as we carried the treatment at that time. Afterward we would malpractice unknowingly by wondering where he would fall and what he would fall off the next day. The result was with us as it was with Job, who said (3:25), "The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."
