Fanny de Groot Hastings

There are no duplicates in Mind,
Which promised to make all things new—
No seconds found of any kind—
But one of me and one of you.

The singularity of each—
Of bird, of flower, and of man—
Observed in reverence should teach
The unique beauty of Love's plan.
