I wish, at this time, to express...
I wish , at this time, to express my appreciation of Mrs. Eddy, who so readily gave her revelation of Christian Science to the world that it might bless mankind.
When I graduated from high school, I began searching for a church and religion that would satisfy a need which I felt at the time. Shortly after beginning the rounds of various churches, I met the young man who later became my husband. He introduced me to Christian Science, which certainly filled my requirements. I was able to attend a Christian Science Sunday School for about two years.
From that attendance and from my own study, I gained spiritual insight and understanding that have been of much help to me and, later, to my family. My first healing occurred shortly after I began attending a Church of Christ, Scientist, and had begun my university studies. Part of the walk from campus to the hall where I lived was up a short, steep hill, and my feet and legs became quite painful on this walk.
