The testimonies that have appeared in the Christian Science periodicals throughout the years have so strengthened my trust and faith in times of temptation that now I too should like gratefully to testify to the wonderful help I have received through the teachings of Science.

When I was about seven years of age, the school doctor diagnosed a severe case of lung trouble. He told my parents that I would have to go to a sanatorium at once. We had just become interested in Christian Science, and my father told the doctor that he would notify a practitioner and ask him to pray for me. Although I received no medical treatment, X-ray pictures were taken every month. After one month the doctor told me to tell my father that the condition was three times better than at first. After three months I was found to be completely healed. I had not been absent from school one day.

Subsequently, partly with the help of practitioners, partly through my own spiritual growth, I was quickly and permanently healed of a very badly sprained foot, colds, acute appendicitis, which was medically diagnosed at my place of employment, rheumatic inflammation, chronic heart trouble, and other ailments.
