Church Dedications

Anaheim, California (First Church).

Dedication services will be held Sunday, at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m., for First Church of Christ, Scientist, Anaheim, a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.

The history of this church began in 1909 when a small group met and began holding services regularly in the Masonic Temple at 104 North Emily Street. Soon they moved to the Opera House at the corner of Center and Olive Streets. In 1909 the little group was officially [recognized by The Mother Church] as Christian Science Society, Anaheim.
